To keep it at a bare minimum, my common core classes are pretty great. As far as math and science, i love the way they have incorporated growing technology into learning! In science and math, we have a class set of tablets, for kids who don't have or chose not to bring their devices to school. Plus, we have a great, merciful, and very understanding teacher. With social studies and language arts,we don't have as much technology. We do not have the tablets, but we do have a smart board, which we use almost every day. The common core as a whole is pretty great.
